			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Kenora Rainy River Regional Laboratory Program exists to provide support and coordination to the six independent hospital laboratories in the Kenora-Rainy River Districts of Northwestern Ontario. This is achieved through providing technical advice, consultative support, educational support, quality assurance assistance, and regional proficiency testing support.</p>
<p>Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, this full-time position is responsible for supporting its hospital stakeholders to meet the vision, values and strategic directions laid out by the KRRRLP Board. The Executive Director works collaboratively with the Kenora-Rainy River hospitals laboratory management and staff to ensure a high-level service to the member hospitals.</p>

<h2>Qualifications/Competencies:</h2>
<p>We are seeking an individual who is a great team leader and can work cooperatively with other hospital laboratory leaders to ensure high quality hospital laboratory programs in the Kenora-Rainy River region of Ontario.</p>
<p>The successful candidate must have at least five years of management / supervisory experience and be currently registered with the CMLTO. Additionally, you will have excellent people skills and have a demonstrated knowledge of the Ontario Laboratory Accreditation program; proficient computer skills and experience; and excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p>
<h3>Preferred competencies include:</h3>
<p>Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT), BSc. or equivalent qualifications and experience; Quality Manager/Auditor or Management System Certification by a recognized institute; departmental management / supervisory courses; and strengths in microbiology and transfusion medicine.</p>
<p>Working conditions include frequent travel.</p>
